35mm safety filmstrip, frame #23, photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in June of 1960. Frame #23 is an image of an 11'8" Philip Rhodes designed Penguin dinghy on beam end and a 12' Tech dinghy, sail #T474, originally a Massachusetts Institute of Technology design, racing during Larchmont Race Week. Image is a starboard beam view of a Penguin dinghy and bow view of a Tech dinghy running before the wind under mainsail rounding the mark. The Penguin is heeled over to starboard, rail down as two young boys maneuver the dinghy around the mark, skipper braced against leeward rail holding tiller tightly as his mate climbs to the high side with the sheet in hand. Land and boats are in the background. Info. from neg. sleeve stamped and handwritten: "166551/ 166551F". Typed: "Larchmont Race Week 1960".
