depicts Battle of Trafalgar (Oct. 21, 1805), shows the Spanish four-deck, 130-gun SANTISSIMA TRINIDAD at far left, Nelson’s ship, HMS VICTORY, astern and in battle with French 74 REDOUBTABLE; HMS TEMERAIRE alongside REDOUBTABLE; French Admiral Villeneuve’s flagship 80-gun BUCENTAURE being raked from astern by 98-gun HMS NEPTUNE, while the British 74-gun ships LEVIATHAN and CONQUEROR approach at right.
