Chevalier of the Legion of Honor medal awarded to Edward E. Bradley, 1928, by the French government; medal is shaped like a five-sided double-pointed star, made of white enamel, encircled by a green wreath of oak and laurel leaves and topped by a smaller, similar wreath, the head of "Marianne", symbolic figure of the Republic, appears on the front of the medal, two tricolour French flags on the back; printed on front "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE 1870"; printed on back "HONNEUR ET PATRIE"; medallion suspended from red moire ribbon.
