Mears (1829-1899) during his travels as a shipmaster; image of Trafalgar Square, Bridgetown (the capitol of Barbados), now known as National Hero's Square, boats are shown docked, while horse-drawn trolley cars and carts are in the background, clear view of the fountain in front (erected in 1861 to celebrate the installation of running water in Bridgetown); printed on front "TRAFALGAR SQUARE" and "COOPER"; handwritten on front "Barbadoes".
