8x10 gelatin silver print made by Rosenfeld and Sons in July of 1931 of NEDEVA, a 77' commuter cruiser designed and built by the New York Yacht, Launch & Engine Company of Morris Heights, New York in 1930 and was owned by E.T. Stotesbury. This long shot of the motor yacht NEDEVA, docked at a pier, port bow view while in Florida, was commissioned to be photographed by the New York Yacht Launch and Engine Company. Handwritten notation on verso: "Photos by Geisler / Nedeva / NYYL Elco / E.T. Stotesbury owner" and upper right in red wax pencil: "192". Stamped in center: "THE NEW YORK YACHT LAUNCH & ENGINE Co. / MORRIS HEIGHTS, NEW YORK CITY / 1st VICE PRES." Stamped: "JUL 1931 / ORDER No. (462) / MOTOR BOATING EDITORIAL / Sent__(4/18) / Wanted___(4/21)". Original 8x10 negative was missing before being acquired by Mystic Seaport but note that there is a MSM photo lab made copy negative from the print made March 1988, see accession #1984.187.40354.
