Mr. John Matthews, Sr. is seated in the cockpit next to the man at the helm. VIM was a 12 meter sloop, #US15, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designs by Sparkman & Stephens. Mount info. embossed: "Made in U.S.A.". Processor's stamp: "(black) 7".
