Image of VIM, in the background,starboard leeward beam view, port tack, reaching, being overlapped by GLEAM in the foreground, windward position and same tack. VIM was a 70' 12 meter sloop, #US15, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designed by Sparkman and Stephens. GLEAM was a 67' 11" 12 meter sloop, sail #US11, built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc., of City Island, New York from, designs by Clinton Hoadley Crane in 1937. Mount info. processor's stamp: "Made in U.S.A. / (red) 20". Embossed: "MAY 58".
