Image of GLEAM, foreground, starboard beam view, port tack, windward, broad reach, overlapping VIM, in background, leeward and same tack. GLEAM was a 67' 11" 12 meter sloop, sail #US11, built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc., of City Island, New York from, designs by Clinton Hoadley Crane in 1937 and was owned in 1958 by W. Mahlon Dickeson. VIM was a 12 meter sloop, #US15, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designs by Sparkman and Stephens and owned in 1958 by John N. Mathews. Mount info. processor's stamp: "Made in U.S.A. / (red) 23". Embossed: "MAY 58". Manufacturer's info.: "Kodachrome Transparency / Processed by Kodak".
