VIM was a 70' 12 meter sloop, #US15, built in 1939 by H.B. Nevins in City Island, New York from designs by Sparkman and Stephens and owned by John N. Mathews in 1958. Mount info. processor's stamp: "Made in U.S.A. / (red) 26". Embossed: "MAY 58". Manufacturer's info.: "Kodachrome Transparency / Processed by Kodak".
