In the background with only partial view of the spinnaker is SIRONA, sail #21313, white hull, yellow and medium blue horizontal spinnaker. Image is a close up of RUNNING TIDE's starboard bow, leeward, on a port tack with mainsail running free. RUNNING TIDE, sail #4444, was a 60'6" auxiliary sloop built in 1969 by Huisman of Vollenhove, Netherlands from designs by Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. and sailed in 1978 by A.G. Van Metre. SIRONA was a 48' auxiliary sloop, sail #21313, believed to be a Swan 48 built by or before 1978 and designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by Oy Nautor Ab Company of Finland.
