Image of LARIKIN undersail, starboard quarter view, mainsail close-hauled, vessel on a port tack, deck with crew visible. LARIKIN was a NY32' class sloop, sail #NY10, previously called HELEN, then LARIKIN and later WHISPER II, SOUBRETTE, BETISE, BARUNITA, FLYING TARTAN and TENDERLY. She was a 45'4" Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. sloop later converted to a yawl in 1953. LARIKIN was owned by George Whitney of New York from 1937 to 1941.
