Cooper/ Mama called/ "Uncle Frank" "; most likely a family friend of the Griffings, as Ann Eliza's mother mentions the death of a Mr. Cooper (March, 1879) in a letter; on back of photograph is a blue 2 cent stamp with George Washington's face on it; below stamp is printed "EDGAR RAYNOR,/ PHOTOGRAPHER,/ Cor. of Main St. & Griffing Ave./ RIVERHEAD, L.I."
