Image is long shot, port quarter view, of TENACIOUS undersail, with 8-10 of the crew seated on deck and the man at the helm is Ted Turner. TENACIOUS was a 61'3" auxiliary sloop, sail #6998, custom designed by Sparkman and Stephens to the International Offshore Rule (IOR), and built by Palmer Johnson Boat Works for Ted Turner in 1978.
