Image is of the runabout racer, TEASER, #T1, underway, port beam view, leading MISS PALM BEACH, #T60, behind. Spectator vessels in the background. TEASER was a 39'11" runabout, designed by George F. Crouch for Richard F. Hoyt of New York, New York and built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc. of City Island, New York in 1924. TEASER won both the Free-For-All Trophy for displacement boats and the International Trophy at the Gold Cup Regatta races. MISS PALM BEACH, #T-60, was a 33' runabout racer designed and built by Gar Wood, Inc. of Algonac, Michigan, by or before 1925.
