Necklace; Black and silver beaded necklace; from the collection of Captain RIchard C. Mears (1829-1899); necklace consisting of 12 silver beads (possibly plastic) shaped like roses, alternating with 12 black faceted beads (possibly plastic) between; beads are connected to each other by small eye hooks on either end of the bead; at one end is a short chain, with another black faceted bead on the end; necklace is most likely broken and missing another section similar to one present, as silver bead on one end has an eye hook, but nothing attached to it, with no place for securing the necklace to itself.
