Mears (1829-1899); small wooden box, covered in blue paper. with striped paper running along the widest parts of the box; floral emblem placed on top of box; top lifts off completely; interior covered in paper lining; inside of box is a piece of paper; handwritten in pencil on paper "Took $2.00/ for expenses/ 3/15/49"; handwritten in pencil on bottom of box "10/ 5".
