8x10 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on December 8, 1931. Image is a view taken from a high point in the yard looking out over the Todd Yacht Basin and Ship Yard Corporation located in Brooklyn, New York with a view of small and large steam yachts as well as a few sailing yachts, dockside in for winter storage and/or for maintenance and repair work and there are two active dry docks in the image. There is a lot of activity or workmen and other people on the piers, in the yard and on board many of the vessels. The large excursion steamer left of center is AMERICANA, a 209'8" steamer built by the Buffalo Drydock Company in 1908. Typed negative sleeve info.: "41591 / [Box] 2200-15 / General View at Todds".
