7x5 glass negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on June 22, 1923 at the end of the New London Race. Image of GUINEVERE, the second of that name, underway on the Thames River, New London, Connecticut here to see the Harvard-Yale Races being held that day. GUINEVERE is under power, showing a starboard quarter view, dressed, photographed from an elevated view looking down with a good view of the deck and some of the people on board. GUINEVERE(2nd), was a three-masted 195' auxiliary schooner built in 1921 by Lawley & Son Corporation of Neponset, Massachusetts from designs by A. Loring Swasey. She was the second vessel of same name owned by Edgar Palmer starting in 1921. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "9996-F / 6/22/23 / New London Races / Guinevere". Handwritten: "Edgar Palmer-N.Y. / Box 919".
