5x4 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons in 1967. Image of CARINA undersail, starboard bow/bow on view with mainsail running free and spinnaker set. CARINA, sail #315, was a 53'6" auxiliary yawl, designed by Philip L. Rhodes and built by H. Heidtmann of Hamburg, Germany in 1955 for Richard S. Nye of Greenwich, Connecticut who owned her until 1968. She was sold and renamed SONARE in 1969. Stamped neg. sleeve info.: "183541". Handwritten: "315 CARINA". From Box 6001.
