Image is a long shot of COURAGEOUS, #US26, on the left, and INTREPID, #US22, on the right and slightly behind with both vessels abeam port side against a pink and gray sunset with clouds across a setting sun at the top of INTREPID's mast. COURAGEOUS, #US26, was the America's Cup defender in 1974 and was built by Minneford Yacht Yard of City Island, New York and designed by Sparkman & Stephens. INTREPID, #US22, was the 12 meter, US America's Cup defender in 1967 and 1970 and was originally designed by Britton Chance, Jr. and built by Minneford Yacht Yard of City Island, New York.
