Image of SOLUTION, #13 with a red spinnaker and AZAWA, #2292, with a blue-topped yellow spinnaker on a broad reach in very calm air with a view from leeward. SOLUTION, was a 46'2" auxiliary sloop built in 1939 by Crosby Yacht Building & Storage Company, Inc. of Osterville, Massachusetts and designed by Sparkman & Stephens, Inc. AZAWA was a Cal 50 auxiliary sloop, sail #2292, built by Columbia Yacht Corporation of Costa Mesa, California from designs by William H. Tripp in 1968 and her owner was Robert W. Hubner. Mount info. stamped: "(black) 35 JUN 69N3". Manufacturer's info. stamped: "(yellow) MADE IN U.S.A. U.S. PAT NO. 1,013,354 / Kodachrome/ TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY KODAK".
