Image of APPLEDORE, sail #10895, on a starboard tack lufting with a spinnaker pole at the ready, bow to bow, crossing tacks with SNOW WHITE, #12012, on a port tack. APPLEDORE III was a 39' auxiliary sloop, Ericson 39 model, built 1972-1773 by Ericson Yachts Incorporated. SNOW WHITE was a 40'7" Tartan 41 auxiliary sloop built in 1972 by Tartan Marine Company from designs by Olin Stephens II. Mount info. stamped in red; "19 / JUL 73N4". Manufacturer's info. embossed; "MADE IN U. S. A" and on the verso: "Kodachrome / TRANSPARENCY / PROCESSED BY KODAK".
