COLUMBIA and VIM are flying their spinnakers. Image possibly taken during the 1958 Charles Francis Adams Memorial Trophy race off Newport, Rhode Island, sponsored by the Eastern Yacht Club. Signed on verso, "Taylor." Handwritten on verso: "Vim / Col / Nereus" and stamped in green. "KNAPP 26". Event and date inferred from the provenance of the photo. Image is among Arthur Knapp's collection of photos of the 1958 America's Cup trials.
