Originally named BANDIT, she was a 28'9" Sound Inter Club class sloop built in 1926, sail #ISC13, by Henry B. Nevins, Inc. of City Island, New York from designs by Charles D. Mower. She was later renamed SUSAN from 1931-1935 and then CAPRICE starting in 1936. Her owner in 1933 was Emil Jr. "Bus" Mosbacher. Stamped neg. sleeve info.: "65868F / [Box] 3878".
