Image of the vessel SEA HORSE, of the Detroit Yacht Club, underway showing a starboard quarter view. SEA HORSE was an 80' commuter cruiser designed and built by Purdy Boat Company of Trenton, Michigan in 1921. The cost of the Allison Engineering Company engines in 1921 was $22,000 each. She was used for many years on the Great Lakes and in Florida. Her owner in 1921 was James A. Allison. Typed neg. sleeve info.: "6703-F".
