Octagonal sailor's valentine presented to Mystic Seaport Museum by the citizens of Provincetown, Massachusetts, in honor of the visit of the CHARLES W. MORGAN to Provincetown during the MORGAN's 38th Voyage in 2014. Valentine design presents a central illustation of the MORGAN (carved on plastic and dyed?) surrounded by a compass rose and flowers made from various shells; memorabilia from the MORAGN's 100th birthday embedded left of the northern point of the compass rose; 'A GIFT FROM PROVINCETOWN / WELCOME CHARLES MORGAN' written out in shells around the edge. Written in marker on the back 'To Mystic Seaport, the Captain, / Crew, Carpenters, Shipwrights, & / Riggers / Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! / From the Citizens of / Provincetown, Massachusetts / July 2014 / Artists - Matt Olke ~ Cake Ayotte / Sailors Valentine - Kevin "Foggy" Foley'.
