Commemorative baseball cap with embroidered logo of the 38th Voyage of the CHARLES W. MORGAN; produced for sale at Mystic Seaport Museum and worn by deckhand Daniel Roche during the voyage. Embroidered on the front of the cap 'THE 38TH VOYAGE / CHARLES W. MORGAN'; lines of text broken up by ribbon of seven stars. Embroidered at the back above leather size adjuster 'MYSTIC 2014 SEAPORT'; '2014' embroidered within a white diamond over a red rectangle. See letter written by Roche in the correspondence file. Overall fair to poor condition entirely due to daily wear; cap is discolored and dirty with oil, dirt, sweat, etc. Overall: 4 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 10 3/4 in.
