4x5 safety negative photographed by Rosenfeld and Sons on August 22, 1945, showing Star Class sloops rounding the second mark during the International Star Class Race. Image shows multiple Star Class sloops, including a port beam view of the following sail numbers, not hull numbers: Star Class #1702, Star Class #1280, and Star Class #626, on a starboard tack. Note that due to the war, hulls were provided by the host clubs and were drawn by lot daily. Information stamped on the original negative sleeve: "112472F / [Box] 4870" and written: "8/22/45 / Intnl Star Class Race / 2nd Mark / NP [not printed]".
