Image shows multiple Star Class sloops, including a stern view of Star Class #626 and Star Class #1280 (sail numbers only, not hull numbers) on a port tack. Note that due to the war, hulls were provided by the host clubs and were drawn by lot daily. Information stamped on the original negative sleeve: "112478F / [Box] 4870" and written: "8/26/45 / Intnl Star Class Race".
