Working model of World War II U. S. Navy Patrol Torpedo boat, PT-110 80' Elco Motor Torpedo Boat. Gray topsides, simulated wood deck, fully outfitted. Deck features include: white lifeboat with grey oars; charthouse with ship's wheel and controls; two machine gun turrets with chairs; and one machine gun mounted near stern. Liftable, hinged deck panels reveal mechanisms underneath; large center panel below charthouse lifts up to access mechanisms under deck. Hull is marked "110" on each side toward the bow. Front of charthouse is marked "110; " side of chart house is marked "PT-110 USN / ELCO 80-42 / RON-8-SWP." Pennant with white star on blue background, and red and white stripes is attached to the top of the mast. Four signal plags on the mast spell out "PETE." American flag flying from stern. Model is sitting on wooden cradle with brass plaque that reads: "BUILT BY PASSAMONTE."
