Rare, two colored bird's-eye lithograph by John Bachmann, Sr. The view encompasses coastlines along the Gulf of Mexico, the Mississippi River delta and a panoptic view inland as far as Vicksburg, Jackson, Montgomery and Macon with details of roads. towns and cities. Many vessels are shown in the Gulf of Mexico, Atchafalaya Bay, Lake Ponchatrain, Mobile Bay and Pensacola Bay.
