6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld in June, 1911, at the time of the Columbia Yacht Club Regatta, held in the Hudson River in New York. Image shows a port quarter view of the screw launch KITSIX, temporary racing #24, underway with four people visible on board and the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument and the upper west side of New York City in the background. Written on the original negative sleeve: "Columbia Y.C. Races 1912 [sic] / KITSIX / Plate 290 [crossed out] #283 / Box 25". Although the negative sleeve says 1912, the image appeared in Motor Boat on June 25, 1911, in a story entitled: "Regatta at the Columbia Yacht Club".
