6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld in June 1912 at the time of the Columbia Yacht Club Regatta held on the Hudson River in New York. Image shows a port beam view of the runabout racer ESOLANIE II, temporary racing #45, underway with two people visible on board. The riverbank, city buildings, and the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument are visible in the background. Written on the emulsion side of the negative: "Esolanie II". Written on the original negative sleeve: "Columbia Y.C. Races 7/8/12 / Esolanie II" and stamped: "PLATE NO." and written: "352 [crossed out] #340 / Box 29".
