6x8 glass negative photographed by Morris Rosenfeld in July, 1911, at the time of the New York to Halifax Race, showing a port beam view of the sloop-rigged launch CAROLINE, temporary racing #7, with sails set and at least seven people on deck. Written on the emulsion side of the negative: "Caroline". Written on the original negative sleeve: "#360 / Box 30 / Halifax Race / M. B.
