Matted, color lithograph done from a watercolor by Frederic S. Cozzens. One of the American Yacht series. Shows three yachts at sail in the midground, a steamer ship and several more yachts sailling in the background, and a rowboat with six people aboard in the foreground. The bottom center of the mat is embossed with a ship's wheel and two crossed oars behind a label cutout; the label reads: "GREAT OCEAN RACE FOR $90,000 / FROM SANDY HOOK TO ENGLAND, DEC. 1866 / PLATE 2 / HENRIETTA, FLEETWING, VESTA."
