Civil War saber (A) with scabbard (B). Saber handle has a brass hand guard and shagreen grip; curved blade, with engraving (illegible) near the handle on both sides. Scabbard is metal, with tip protector and two round hooks. From a collection of Civil War uniform accoutrements belonging to Lieutenant Robert H. Clift of Mystic, Conn.
