Full model of whaleship the CHARLES W. MORGAN, mounted on wooden stand in glass case; made from model kit in 1970 by Charles (Chuck) B. Raworth. Model includes seven whaleboats with equipment (three supported by davits off the port side, two off the starboard side, two spare boats lashed upside down on the midship skid beams), miniature figures of crew members, barrels, coiled line, anchors, trypots, and additional whaling equipment. Model and equipment are fully painted, hull is painted to look like copper with patina; fully rigged with cotton thread, no sails. Case made of wood base and frame with five glass panels; plaque on lower left corner of the base reads 'Estate of / Ann E. Raworth / Donated By Brother / Paul K. Gavin / July 29, 2021'. Overall good condition. Overall: 29 1/4 x 31 1/2 x 14 in.
