DOLLAR Steamship Line menu for dinner aboard SS PRESIDENT HOOVER on 4 October, 1932. Folded, with a color line drawing of a woman seated before a small shrine and a captain lauding Java opposite the menu. The front cover features a four-color illustration of a couple wearing turbans walking on a plaza between stone buildings, toward a low building with a fish gargoyle at left and a seated Buddha sculpture on its roof. The illustration is signed "Philip Little" in its lower left corner. A small route map is printed verso. Right edge slightly soiled. In plastic envelop marked, "$20". Overall 8 1/2 x 6 in.
