NYK Line menu for a "Sayonara" dinner aboard SS WAKASA MARU on 21 February 1928. Opposite the menu is a wistful color illustration of a young Japanese woman in elegant traditional dress holding a fan and standing at the edge of a grove of palm trees. On the other side are a route map and spaces for message and address. Folded vertically twice. Messaage describing the dinner, passenger dress, and upcoming arrival in Cape Town, postmarked twice. Folded horizontally once, thumb-sized chip missing from one edge. Overall: 7 5/8 x 3 3/8 in.
