A man embracing a laughing woman on the deck of the CARPATHIA, 1908

overall: 4 3/16 x 2 1/2 in.

A man and woman at the deck rail of the CARPATHIA. He seems to be embracing her and wrapping her in his fur-collared coat, while she is laughing. The photo is labeled "Anders & her chaperone," but they seem to be the woman labeled FOF in other photos and the man labeled JJH (who might also be Jack Houghton). It is a wonderful, candid photo of young, apparently unmarried people having fun on their ocean voyage to the Mediterranean in 1908.
