The MORRO CASTLE, off the beach at Asbury Park

Photograph of the MORRO CASTLE off the beach at Asbury Park, NJ. People in this photo are wearing winter coats and hats, so it might be later in the year than the many photographs taken right after the fire in September 1934. There is still a crowd gathered near the stern of the ship, however. The ship remained aground off Asbury Park until it was towed away in March 1935.
