A photograph of a two women, a man, a child and a dog posing in front of the wreck of the MORRO CASTLE off the beach at Asbury Park, NJ. This is one of four photographs from an apparent family outing to the ship. Hundreds of thousands of people reportedly visited Asbury Park in the months after the September 8, 1934 disaster. The people in this photo are all wearing coats, suggesting it was taken later that fall. The back of the photo is labeled only "Mrs. Lorain."
