Photograph of the MORRO CASTLE off the beach at Asbury Park. This view of the bow was taken from on or near the rock breakwater. This is one of four photographs from an apparent family outing to see the ship. It is interesting that the bow portion and the name of the ship, which appear undamaged in many of the photos from just after the wreck came aground, seem to be more heavily damaged in this photo which (based on people's coats in the other photos) is from later that fall or winter.
