A photograph of the MORRO CASTLE off the beach at Asbury Park, NJ, affixed to a photo album or scrapbook page. A caption says "Taken by Ross Sep. 27/34." The photo shows people sitting in deck chairs on the boardwalk. This may be from the same photo album as the previous record. On the back of the page is a newspaper clippng with a photograph of stage and film actress Katherine Emery, who was starring in a Broadway play called "The Children's Hour" in 1934 and 1935. The announcement is about a benefit for the Stage Relief Fund which took place in Feburary 1935. The Stage Relief Fund was developed to provide financial assistance to actors in need as a result of the Great Depression, and various Broadway shows held extra performances as fundraising benefits.
