Crowd looking at MORRO CASTLE at Asbury Park

A photograph of the MORRO CASTLE wreck off the beach at Asbury Park, with a small biplane flying over it, perhaps taking news photographs of it. There is a crowd gathered, but unlike in most of the photos from the disaster, they are staying on the boardwalk. The ship is still smoking, suggesting this was taken on the day of the fire, September 8, 1934.
