Photograph of the MORRO CASTLE wreck off the beach at Asbury Park, NJ, with a crowd of people looking at it. There is a ladder hanging askew off the side of the hull that is not visible in the many other photographs of this wreck, perhaps as part of an effort to access the ship to recover human remains. That suggests the photo was taken in the days after the September 8, 1934 disaster.
