The program from a "horse racing" event on the MORRO CASTLE. This was a popular pastime on ships at this time, using small wooden horses moved along a track based on dice rolls, and with people betting on the various contestants.This event was held the day after Christmas in 1931, under supervision of the Cruise Director, H.W. Goeggel. The cover is titled "T.E.L. MORRO CASTLE Racing Entries and Information," while the interior lists the names of participating passengers, the tongue-in-cheek names of their horses, and the purse information for six different races.
