A wide panoramic view of the MORRO PARK wreck off the beach at Asbury Park, with the boardwalk in the foreground and the convention hall to the right. The ship's gangplank hatches are open, a ladder is dangling from the side, and there is a small dock on the beach that is not present in early photographs, so this may have been taken after efforts began to loosen and remove the ship from where it had grounded. There is a smattering of people onthe beach and others on the boardwalk. White text on the photograph says "S.S. MORRO CASTLE, Asbury Park, [copyright] 1934 Stickeler Photo '35."
