Menu dated May 5, 1908 from the MAURETANIA. It is designed to stand up on the table. Printed on cardstock, with embossed decorations at the top as well as a gold, red and pink color scheme. The image at the top is captioned "LUSITANIA & MAURETANIA" but this menu is from the MAURETANIA. The back is also decorated, with a U.S., British, and Cunard flag. The menu options include fish, chicken, lamb, sirloin, and duckling, and there are a variety of desserts. The MAURETANIA's maiden voyage was in November 1907, so this was in its first year. This voyage was not going well, however-- on Sunday, May 3 it hit a submerged object and damaged one of its four propellers, causing a delay.
