Six projectiles are snugly fit inside the quiver (2010.11.434). Projectiles are oval in profile, sharpened at their points, and split at their opposite ends. The split end holds a leaf or palm frond, presumably as fletching. There is no significant notch to accept a bowstring, suggesting these projectiles were propelled by a blowgun or similar means. Two bands of dark plant fiber are wrapped around the shafts of all projectiles above and below the fletching. All species unidentified. Date and location unknown. Overall: 21 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/4 in.
